I am a woman and I want to tone up my stomach. Is there any other exercises to tone up than the conventional sit-up. Any exercise idea would be greatly appreciated

diet - best way to a 'toned' stomach. god I hate that word.

cut out all bread and other junk.
eat more green veg and whole foods.

Also the best thing to do is planks, front plank and side plank, best YouTube it to find out rather than me explain it. You'll notice a huge difference.

What bugs me is people getting all pissy about the word toned, yet you know exactly what she means and are able to advise her accordingly!! But it is all diet I'm afraid.

    Afraid not
Ab exercises strengthen stomach muscles, but they don't shift fat from the stomach any more than other parts of the body

I'm trying to achieve a toned stomach too.

Doing some excerises like the plank, side blank and sit ups aswell. I asked something similar here lately and it be honest most of the hard work needs to be put into your diet to make the difference.
It's more 70% your diet and 30% excerise.

My biggest problem is : Diet

What can I have and what I definately should be avoiding.

Is there any websites that could help recommend the best foods and worse foods or have dinner recommendations to achieve that toned stomach.
