    Yup,
main event will be Storm vs. Roode vs. Ray vs. Hardy and there'll also be Garett Bischoff vs. Gunner
    at least.

    Thanks Machismo Fan.

I'd like to see that match, that will be awesome.

Do you know who the mystery trainer of Garrett is?
Eric wantet to expose who it is, but suddenly changed his mind when he found out who's training Garrett.

It ends up being Hogan, which is entirely expected.

I assume Kazarian is the heel in that match? Last time I seen (well, read of) him he was teaming with Styles (against Joe and Magnus I think), what happened that he is now with Daniels?

Does that mean Fortune, the best TNA stable in years, now only consists of Storm and Styles?

Daniels has something over Kaz and is forcing him to do his bidding and Fortune has been dead for months.

Looking forward to Shelley V Aries and Kaz V Styles (kinda hope TNA give Kaz a decent push this year)

I just want to see a title change hands, last title change was Morgan & Crimson winning the tag titles on the first Impact after Turning Point.

Longer reigns is a much, much better thing (though I would have Morgan and Crimson drop the titles).

    Yup,
main event will be Storm vs. Roode vs. Ray vs. Hardy

    With Sting as special enforcer.

Not too fussed about the length of a title reign be it too short or too long, just how they develop the story and present the pay-off is more rewarding to watch.

Really would like to see Joe and Magnus win the tag-belts, but will they throw away Crimsons undefeated streak to two guys they havn't shown much faith in the last year? Unless they have Morgan get pinned and just go with the 'Ah yes but Crimson wasn't pinned, thus still undefeated' motion.

I think they've done that before, in the BFG series. Im sure Crimson was on the losing side a few times in that.

They bill somebody as undefeated as long as they aren't pinned or made submit themselves (on TV).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 89,016 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

The main event of the TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view will be Bobby Roode vs. James Storm vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Bully Ray in a four-way match with Sting as the special enforcer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 274 ✭✭notyalc666

I hope Joe and Magnus take the belts off the most boring, bland and useless tag team ever.

Why is Crimson still undefeated, it lost momentum ages ago when they had to start the whole "well he didn't get pinned" gig.

They blew it with the BFG series, they were pushing him like mad, he should have won that and then won the title. But Russo swerved on himself and now it has dragged on too long.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

I was pretty happy with Crimson being taken out of the BFG series. Having him win it, and then win the title would have been awful. He was (and still is) nowhere close to being ready for that.

I agree, having him win it would have been terrible, but it was the logical end to his undefeated steak angle. Have him go all the way and then have him loose to Kurt Angle of Bobby Roode and make a big deal of it. Not this stop start, sure it doesn't matter Morgan got pinned thing they are doing now.

He was (is) still too green for that sort of push, but so was Goldberg, so it must be a good idea. Typical TNA re hash the past....badly

Yes it has lost momentum but it's still a card worth keeping at this stage, the undefeated streak angle has go on for so long (i think about a year) that it would be a waste to randomly throw it away, despite how green he is.

I'd say he will eventually have a title match later this year with Roode, Storm or Hardy who will carry him through a passable match and he will get some near falls but eventually lose, and that will be that.

When they started his streak they were thin on main eventers (Roode and Storm were still Beer Money, Kevin Nash had gone back to WWE for the Rumble) but now Crimson looks further away from main eventing then he ever has been.

Morgan was ready for the main event imo why did TNA pull the plug on him?

TNA had a great tag division but with the break up of BM, Dudleys and injuries to the MCMG it is low on tag teams, I thought they might put the tag titles on Scott Steiner & Bully Ray or Devon & Pope at one stage perhaps Kaz & Daniels or Jerry Lynn & Kash might try for titles later on

I hope I'm wrong but TNA seem to mimic WWE so much that they might be thinking there is no need for tag wrestling (they should watch the best of 5 between Beer Money and MCMG if they are)

AJ and Kaz looked good in that tournament but they Kaz turned heel on AJ, Is the whole roster eventually gonna turn on him? AJ TNA's on face wrestler!!

TNA's tag division has always gone through peaks and valleys. People forget that The Band were tag champs the month before the Beer Money/Guns series. It'll come back around again eventually and at least they're still giving it TV time.

His last one (I think it was his last one anyway) was quite good before he became Flair Jr.

I hope your right. The tag and X divisions are why I love(d) TNA. They were unlucky with injuries around the time of the Beer Money break up.

I don't think so, would he have a 90 days (it'd be around 75 anyway (I'm too lazy to count the exact number))? It seems to vary from person to person whether there's a no-compete clause when the the contract expires rather than is terminated (there wasn't one for Gail Kim I don't believe). Regardless, I'd imagine if it were JoMo they'd advertise it further in advance.

From guys we havn't seen in a while, it could be any one of Anderson, Sabin or Kendrick or it may be the push of Mark Haskins if they feel he's ready to step up to being a regular on the main roster.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,101 ✭✭✭NUTZZ

Is this live on any UK channel or PPV?

EDIT: Just found out it isn't, only in USA. Just a repeat showing on Wednesday here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

Wasnt Sabin due back a few weeks ago? I reckon he's a good shout.

Doubt they would drop Anderson down that far if he's coming back at all.

On one hand it would be pretty cool to see Sabin and Shelly win the Television Title and X-Division title respectively, but on the other hand it would mean another loss for the tag-team division.

He took a knee right to the head. It was a complete accident but looked incredibly nasty. Dunno what the update is yet but it was VERY serious when he was taken away. Hope everything works out for him, because it would be devastating for him if he isnt able to wrestle again at such a young age.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,888 ✭✭✭Charisteas

Yeah looked nasty alright, not sure if it's a concussion of neck injury or what.

Other than that it was a decent PPV actually, crowd actually seemed alive most of the night, Shelly/Aries was awesome.

so every heel won, and their first title change in 3 months was to make sure every title is held by heels?

I didn't see it, but pretty much everything has been done before at this stage. Going to be very hard indeed to come up with unique finishes with the amount of shows that are aired nowadays.

Prolly going to hold onto crimsons undefeated streak and have him defend it around the same time the undertakers streak is challenged at wrestlemania.

    Jason Powell:
No significant updates on Jesse Sorensen at this time. He remained in ICU overnight after suffering a neck injury at the TNA pay-per-view.

That's no good. I was hoping in vain that it was a "stinger" - very temporary paralysis.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,788 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

    PWTorch:
Dixie Carter hasn't updated her Twitter account with an update on Jesse Sorensen since saying he was taken to the hospital during the PPV for testing on his injured neck. A lack of updates on a situation like this is ominous, as people within TNA -including Carter via Twitter - would likely be eager to relieve the worries and concerns in the wrestling community over the seriousness of Sorensen's injury. The only indications PWTorch has received are that there is said to be reason for concern the neck injury could be serious.

Fans at ringside watched him get stretchered away after saying his body went numb below his neck. Sorensen injured his neck during last night's opening match on TNA Against All Odds when Zema Ion leaped off the top rope onto him at ringside. Zema's knee struck Sorensen on the side of his head and Sorensen flopped backward to the floor, landing without bracing himself with his arms flopping onto the ground in an awkward position. He didn't move after landing. Everyone hopes for good news soon out of TNA through official channels.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

The referee's reaction when he counts him out tells me Jesse was supposed to win that match, add in Aries retaining and heel vs heel doesnt make a lot of sense. Sucks for Jesse as it looked like he was going to be getting a chance to show he could hang with the title contenders.

Hopefully he's okay and its nothing worse than a concussion. I assume if it were just a knock we'd have heard about it by now. Obviously its more than that but hopefully not much.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,089 ✭✭✭✭rovert

TNA wrestler Jesse Sorensen remains hospitalized with a neck injury that occurred at the Against All Odds pay-per-view on Sunday. He has feeling in his arms and is able to move them. He has a tingling sensation in his legs but is unable to move his legs at this time. Sorensen's spirits are said to be high despite the circumstances.

Powell's POV: This is actually encouraging news compared to the fears that people within the company had on Sunday night. Obviously, there remains a great deal of concern, though people within TNA are optimistic. We will continue to provide updates on the situation as further information becomes available.

    :)

I wonder if Ion will be punished a little or if it'll just be brushed over. Obviosally it wasnt intentional, but it was still a little reckless. TNA can hardly been seen as rewarding people who injure their opponents with high risk moves.

He shouldnt. The whole thing was an accident pure and simple. These things can unfortunately happen in wrestling, especially with a high spot. These kind of moves are done the whole time incident free, it's noones fault that this happened.

Can't imagine how Xion must be feeling now though.
