I always ask people who bring up the gay aspect as to why it is they notice the homoerotic aspects of wrestling when most fans don't care, and perhaps it's because they are more inclined to notice soch homoerotic aspects of situations because there's something they aren't admitting to themselves.

This argument always annoys me to be honest, even as a super-casual fan of MMA. Yeah, you might get a one minute KO, but the fact it's a real KO means that is often as big a moment than a wrestling match which takes 20 minutes to build up to something. It's like complaining that apples don't taste like oranges when apple eaters know what an apple tastes like; that's why they got an apple!
