    Well watch the video...

Saw that vid on another site lately and had the opportunity to use it on a rabbit a friend shot tonight, have to say, it's a great way to doing the job. If you're shooting a lot of bunnies in a night and carrying them around with you, losing the guts first gets rid of a lot of weight and there's pretty much no blood until you decide to get skinning them.

Can't remember if it was posted here before or not but there ya go.

I've tried this a few times, and I find it works easily enough on young rabbits, but big older rabbits can be tough enough to gut like this. It's not as easy as he makes it look

Don't know about the big rabbits, cos I only done the one last night and it plumped right out the back end. Eat yer weetabix Dec :D:p Next day we're out I'll try it on each of the bunnies we get.

I skin them straight away, then leave them in a pot full of water with a couple of tablespoons of salt. Then the next day I boil them until I can pull the meat off with my fingers and fry the meat with a bit of butter

Two good videos there lads. I'm gonna try both methods but I'd say the second video where your left with the back and hind legs would suit me better as that's the only meat I keep as i dice it for bunny tikka masala. The first video would suit more for selling to game dealers or roasting

Yea I found it a bit tricky too , u really have to squeeze down on it and put the rabbit on it back on your knee , and give it a his swing to it loosens everything up

no way in hell my missus would let me near the kitchen sink to clean anything other than my hands or the dishes!

newspaper on top of the bench in the yard is where all that gets done. :p
