    Another one bites the dust,

    Looks like Spanair may shut down tomorrow after negations with Qatar AW for
    additional investment broke down.

    Their website is no longer working.
    Sad for many.

    Very sad to hear . Really feel for those who lost their jobs :(.
    Were they to operate any chatrers to Ireland this summer? If so who will replace them ?

    I'd be sorry to hear of them going out of business, one of the better airlines serving Spain and Portugal from Ireland. Went to the Algarve a few years ago on charter flights, out Spanair, back Ryanair. The same red wine was half the price on Spanair vs. Ryanair, they gave out hot towels just before landing and the crew were very smartly dressed and clearly took pride in their work.
