Not to beat around the bush, what is the best practical joke you've ever seen, heard or planned? Earlier, my friend and I were discussing the tradtional 6th Year practical joke. We suggested swaping the teabags in the staff room with ones filled with chilli flakes or similar.*
    So, Boardies, lay 'em down.

    *All in therrty of course

    ;)

Kidnapped my best friend with 3 or 4 of us wearing balaclavas

Stripped him down to his jocs in the back of a hiace and dumped him at the V in tipp.

Came back 10 minutes later to find him bawling his eyes out walking down the road

I think practical jokes are so childish.

    Step 1 - Obtain Horse
Step 2 - Tie Horse to door knob of house with short rope
Step 3 - knock on door

    Hilarity ensues.

I never did this but my Grandad and uncles thought it was great craic back in the day.

That's what I thought, but I was worried I wouldn't be fast enough to do a ninja edit to change it, and that the evidence of my editing would indicate my prankage.

If I hadn't deliberated about doing the edit I probably would have been able to make it an ninja one.

    :(

Best one I heard was from a school in Stirlingshire, Scotland whose 6th Years put grass-turf down in their common room and let 3 sheep loose around the school with the numbers 1,2 and 4 painted on their sides.

Apparently the entire teaching staff spent most of the day looking for the sheep marked "3" before the students owned up.

Downside was that their headmaster had no sense of humour and got the organisers charged with criminal damage for the common room and cruelty to animals for the sheep...

That one that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin did was the best one, but not many were fooled.

My brother's friends did a fairly cruel one once. They got one guy's long term girlfriend (a really goodlooking girl) to phone up another friend and try it on with him, just to see how he would react.

She kept telling him how horny she was and how she wanted him for so long, etc etc.

After ten minutes of trying to convince him to call over for sex, eventually the lads pick up the phone in the other room and tell him well done! he didn't give in!

The victim took a big sigh of relief, lucky (or decent!) enough not to have fallen for it, at which point the guys say "sorry we have to get off the phone, <another friend> has just arrived in the yard"... a 'friend' who had fallen for the prank and was calling over to do the deed:eek::o

I assume he is no longer your best friend?
