    Hello every1, does any1 knw of any courses in dietician or nutrition at weekends or evenings that aren't too dear in Galway area?

    Have you tried posting in the Galway City forum? There might be few more folks who know of the courses or are doing them :)

    This college is very good, its abit on the expensive side tho!
    its one weekend per a month to become a nutritional therapist.

    you can pay for it in installments which isn't too bad but would really want to be 100% sure this is what you want to do or else then it would be a waste. They also have a few short courses as far as i know.

    Hi,
    I have personal experience of this course, the layout is as follows:
    Its a 3 year course,
    Year 1: Biomedicine-anatomy and physiology(1 weekend per month, exams and assignments throughout the year.
    Year 2: Nutrition year 1 - the structure is lecture's and clinical practice so it is almost double the amount of weekends when compared to year 1.
    Year 3: Nutrition year 2 - similar structure to the previous year..
