    Hi
my Galaxy Nexus just arrived today and I'm wanting to copy the contacts from my old HTC desire phone to my new Nexus.

Just wondering whats the quickest way to do it over the air?
its taking ages to manually blue tooth over each contact.
    Is there a bulk method?

    Thanks

If you have your contacts synced with your google account then its automatic when you sign in on your new phone

export to vcf and Bluetooth transfer to new phone, that's what I done. works a treat.

    Unfortunately not.
I saved all the contacts to the actual phone.
Is there anyway I can upload them all to google contacts from the phone and then i can pull them back down onto the new phone via the sync.. ?

    Hey
What I did was to put old sim card with all nums on it in nexus. Turned on wifi and logged into google acc and then on the nexus in the contacts app you get the option to import your contacts. Thought contacts came from sim but maybe google synched instead!

    thanks for the input.

Just for anyone else who needs to do this I'll explain.

On my old phone on which all the contacts are, I went into the phone book and exported the contacts to the SD card.
I then emailed the .vcf file to my gmail, opened it on my new phone via the gmail client, and it installed all the contacts on my new phone.

    superb!
and I already had contact sync enabled on my new phone, so they were automatically syncd with google contacts..
