Looking for some help please, im in middle of filling out my fis form and was wondering, do they take a 1 off bonus into account when calculating my average wage, afaik they work it off the average of your last 2 payslips, 1 off which has my chritmas bonus.

    thanks

No I wouldnt as its your normal wage. I had extra hours on my payslips as I covered sickness for my employer but I put in a note saying this was a once off. I enclosed a photocopy of about 15 payslips just to show this.

They dont take the average of your last 2 payslips and they can take bonus/overtime/commission when calculating your income.
Best thing to do is attach a letter outlining the situation and copies of payslips to back up your case.

sorry to hijack thread, but yabadabadoo seems to know a lot about FIS so here goes
i know eligibility is based on income coming into the house between earned, rent, social receipts etc, but is there an element of means testing as well? or is based solely on weekly/monthly income?

    thanks

    again apologies re the highjacking

Im not sure I know what you are asking but FIS is means tested as all the above highlighted are means.Do you mean savings, maintenance or something else?
All income coming into the household is assessed.there are a few exceptions but not many.

I'm living in rented house. Should I deduct the rent amount we pay when calculating the family income?
