Timing belt change in VW Passat

    Can someone confirm if a passat engine with engine code BLF has a timing belt or chain? If chain what maintenance if any is required?

    BLF is the 1.6fsi and uses a chain. No maintenance specific to the chain required. Just correct interval servicing and correct oil type.
