Old news, they were there during the war in the 90's. Not new news.

I'm happy to agree to disagree with you. For those others who wish to know the latest news as written by the Cardinal of Bosnia, January 2012, here is a link.

    http://wheregodweeps.org/breaking-news/bosnia-herzegovina-archbishop-of-sarajevo-demands-equal-treatment-for-catholics/

Since some of us have been to Bosnia and since Bosnia is part of Europe and next door neighbours to Croatia who want to join the EU I guessed it might be of interest to readers here that Saudi oil money has built 70 mosques in Sarajevo.

Again, for those interested, this is the latest news on Bosnia this week.

It doesn't bode well for the future of the country if sectarianism is encouraged. God knows we have experience of that here.

Saudi arabia has funded Muslim bosnias for years.

Sure if you go to their muslim websites you see comments about extremist Christian Serbs.. Each side hates each other. .. Catholics kind of caught in the middle or forced out of bosnia to Croatia.

Everything is tied up with ethnicity in Bosnia, for Catholic read Croat, for Muslim read Bosniak and for Orthodox read Serb. That said it is a shame if outsiders are trying to capitalise on the lingering bitterness from the war. Sarajevo is a tolerant city and Bosnian Muslims are mostly liberal to the point of being able to drink you under the table.
