Shaver Soc ket regs

    Hi
    Just a quick query on current regulations,i was asked to fit a shaver sockets in an en suite,what distance must this socket be fitted from sinks/showers etc.I looked up the etci regs but its a little confusing just want to be sure.

    They can be fitted over a sink, because they have an isolating transformer supplying the socket itself. Maybe thats changed now too. Nothing would surprise me here.


    The shaver unit should be wired from an RCD/RCBO 10 amp circuit anyway.
