Need to put on weight

After a bout of illness I've dropped from a curvy 9 stone to a super skinny 7 and a half. I'm really struggling to put back on weight but in the last 18 months have only gained a miserable half a stone, I'd gone down to 7 with a bmi of 16. Not good. I see a dietician twice a year and shes happy I'm making progress but I'm getting impatient.

The main problem is that the illness has left me intolerant to wheat and lactose. I used to eat a super healthy vegetarian diet of rice and beans, vegetables, lentils etc. These days I can't eat a lot of vegetables, beans, lentils etc as they cause me stomach pain and I've had to completely cut out wheat bread and pasta and sadly cream and chocolate as they aggravate my system.

I've tried complan and the like but they give me the ****s which causes further weightloss.

I'm eating about six - seven small to medium sized meals a day with a mixture of heathy stuff and total junk food but to no avail.

    Anyone have any suggestions?
