Do Disney world tickets have to be used on consecutive days?

I want to buy a 3 day disney hopper pass for the Disney World etc.

Just before I buy I was wondering do Disney tickets have to be used on consecutive days?

Can I take a day off between days like:

    day 1 monday

    day 2 tuesday

    day off wednesday

    day 3 Thursday

    Is this possible?

    Thanks.

No. They do however expire two weeks after the first use.

No they do not have to be used consecutively, they do expire after two weeks. I presume you have just purchased a 'base' ticket rather than a 'hopper'. The base ticket only allows you to enter one park per day. The hopper would allow you to enter as many parks as you want in one day. If this is your first trip, then the base ticket is just fine. The parks are just huge and each park would ideally take two days to see in it's entirety, so you won't need the added expense of the hopper.

A good tip though, even if you only have a base ticket, you can leave that park and return to the same park later that day and it all counts as one days entry (you will also only pay one parking fee if you have a car). I recommend you get to the park for opening, do the most popular rides, head back to your hotel for a rest and a swim in the afternoon and return to the park in the evening. The parks look totally different in the evening and the evening parades and fireworks are spectacular. Just don't try and do a full day in the parks (morning - night) you will be exhausted and fit for nothing the next day. A rest and a swim in the hotel will revive you, especially if you have children.
