With a 3yr warranty has to be a bargain alert and couldn't have come at a better time for moi. Only reservation I have is it doesn't say what the wattage is but hopefully 2.4/3kw.

    Product_detail_Wk05T_31.jpg

    • Capacity 1.8 litres
    • Available in: Black, Red, Cream or Stainless Steel
    • Safety lid and detachable filter
    • Boil dry protection and auto-stop
    • Cordless with power station

    Looks nice anyway:D

Bumping this because I've been through soo many kettles...... sometimes in less than a year it's crazy.

Got a couple of free replacements but nothing can match a 3yr warranty.

CHECK THE WATTAGE OF THIS UNIT FIRST THOUGH...... suggest minimum 2kw

    Larger wattage means quicker boiling?

    Yes :)

Will be having a look at these. The hinge of the lid of my present kettle is very dodgy and I don't really fancy scalding myself any time soon.

Did anybody manage to get one of these today ?

Aldi in Coolock didn't have any due to " unforeseen circumstances " ?

None in Naas earlier too. Thought I might have got the dates wrong.

none down here either (waterford) I didn't enquire but just assumed they went like hot cakes.

It's strange they didn't state the wattage though, might be on the low side.
