Going for my first time this year. Anyone ever go? where do people stay? what's the cheapest way to get there etc.?

****loads of hotel type b&b's all around the venue that usually work out around 25 sterling per night with breakfast. Have never stayed more than 5 minutes walk from the venue. Aer Lingus are the only ones that fly from Dublin to Blackpool afaik. Airport there is less than an hour walk from the venue, so it's all pretty doable on a budget.

Good line up this year.

excellent, cheers for all that man! £115 is a decent price for the ticket, so hoping I can get all in at a nice sum.

Line up is incredible. Can't wait.

Its cracking festival.
Albert road is lined with b&b's its a 30 second walk from the venue.
Usually plenty of heads on the flight over on the Thursday that are willing to split a taxi into town, works out 3-4 quid a head.

Should be a cracking festival this year. Loads of cheap places near enough to the venue. Shouldn´t have trouble getting somewhere within minutes walk of the place. The Only Ones are a hugh draw for me personally. Conflict too are rumoured to be headlining this year. I SOOOOOOOOOOO FOCKING HOPE SO

yeah, me too. I saw them in Scotland back in 2007, savage stuff. That gig that was scheduled for Vicar street must have been selling poorly, might explain why they never rescheduled the date. I did hear that John Perry and Peter had a bit of a fall out, but they must have sorted stuff out. Looking forward to seeing Pil again after the gig in Crawdaddy, thought they were deadly.

Conflict would be great, but the line up is excellent as it stands, so I'm completely sold.
