Could anybody recommend a shop in or relatively close to the Clontarf/Fairview area for the repair of the internal hub gears on a bike? Not really to keen on attempting this myself.

    Cheers,

I haven't a clue if they know much about hub gears but Little Sport at the pedestrian overbridge in Fairview are generally grand.

It'd be worth going to the bike hub in howth, if you can get out there.

There's a very good mechanic there, he did a fine job on my bike 2 weks ago.

Suggest you phone in advance to confirm they work on that kit.

Little Sport are very good, I agree. I imagine if it's a three-speed hub gear they'll be able to do it. From what I've read when you go beyond three you need a specialist to fix it.

Thanks for all the advice. I'll give them places a shout and see what they can do.

Thanks again. Brought the bike into Little Sport this morning. Have it back now and it's working like a dream. :)
