EWI render concerns

    I have been advised to go with EWI by phpp consultant, but have concerns about the render durability in this western coastal location (salt sea air, wind etc). One manufacturer informed me that it has be used in Brittany, France and other coastal areas of Europe for years with no issues. Has anyone any experience of EWI render in similar locations? were there any issues?

    At least one EWI system comes with a guarantee, with the system's manufacturer's having extensive experience in EWI and the manufacture of renders. The said supplier/manufacturer does follow up on the installation and inspects the works, which is more than can be said for some.
