Best Android App for sending texts to multiple people

I want to send some group texts using my Samsung Galaxy S2.

What is the best app for that please?

I have free text messages so it does not have to be based on free texts.

In fact I'd rather use my own text allocation, if that helps in terms of reliability, displaying my caller id, and not having to include a third party sig at the bottom.

    Hope someone can help please.

The standard text app will do that. I use gosms because I like the look of it but that will do it aswell.

I was wondering that too because the standard text app only allows 10 contacts and sometimes I need more and it's annoying to have to send it to two times

Can i just hook up my phone to my laptop, and send messages from some kind of desktop application?

Something that will allow me to have a bit more viewing space to easily pick out the contacts that I want to use?

I guess I am used to using Cabbagetexter for Desktop, except that this time I don't want to send texts via my webtexts, but via my unlimited text allowance.

(I don't think I get webtexts in my current bundle, and even if I do, I would only get 300 webtexts per month from 3).
