ps3 cechg03 flashing red lights

Well my PS3 just shut down mid downloading ufc3 demo with flashing red lights. I tried the fan test and the fans are always fine so wasnt expecting sucess. Do I have any options? Playstation is 3.5 years old 40 gig model.
