Lads panic over, the wife rang and the dog walked back in the gate just before lunch, I was convinced she had been stolen as a strange jeep passed me when I was out looking for her. Spent an hour and a half looking for her last night and was u[p at 6 this morning looking for her before work.

Shes a great worker but she likes to make a bolt out the gate the odd time. This is longest she's ever been away. I picked her up two years ago on the road to cork at 3 in the morning, god knows where she was all of last night. I litterally only turned my back for 2 minutes last night when they were eating their grub.

I'ld say she knew was in trouble and decided to return when things had cooled down.....

Deeks, delighted to hear the dog is back - you must be very relieved. I know a few lads in Cork + Kerry who had their dogs stolen in the last few months. One of those lads had just paid out serious coin for a topper of a springer at the start of the season .He only had the dog a short time and was looking forward to shooting over him but never got the chance as one morning he found the kennel empty and dog gone. Nothing worse than to lose a good dog to some thieving fcuker...
