MBA after pharmacy degree

i've been working as a pharmacist for 3 years.
My initial plan was to work a few years then buy or start up my own pharmacy. The way the community pharmacy sector has gone that's no longer my plan.

I'm thinking of doing an MBA and perhaps combine my pharmacy and business knowledge working for the likes of boots or unicare in a business role rather than as a pharmacist.

MBA's are very expensive (~€30,000) so my dilema is, is it worth it?
Are there many jobs going in the big chains that pay more than being a pharmacist (not hard these days!!) and would an MBA be of real benefit to me?
