Mc Donalds Chicken for Protein

I am no fan at all of mcd's but that article is at least 30% bullcrap.

There are no ground up bones or eyes in chicken nuggets (if there was it would make it healthier - most nutrients are in bones or organs of an animal), they state on their website that it's 100% chicken breast.

If you want to get worked up about mcdonalds food and health, blame it on the white bread flour, the deep-frying and the oodles of preservatives and flavourings that go in to the food.

I'd personally love some ground up bone in my meat if I couldn't taste it, mmm magnesium, calcium, collagen, potassium and more..

Advertising standards are pretty strict about some things. If they say it's 100% breast, it has to be 100% breast. If they say free range eggs, it has to be free range eggs.

I know one of the vets who inspects the meat for McDonalds, and he's happy to eat there. At least, to eat the burgers. He doesn't touch the fries and desserts.

For what it's worth, McDonalds are the best of the fast food chains for labelling their food for calories and contents. My ceoliac daughter has never had a bad reaction to their burgers.

Id have to say Macy D's is probably one of the healthiest (or maybe better described as less unhealthy) fast food places.. the portions sizes are sensible, unless you order the massive ones and the burgers are ok... My local take away give out enough chips for three people in one portion and always dripping with oil
