What is the best way to issue back shares in a limited company? I.e. We have 4 in the company and two are leaving to pursue a direction. Is signing over in a letter that we then register with cross or do you need a particular form. Will check myself but just want other peoples' experience of issues that can arise.

    Thanks

    Hi

Minuted in a meeting of the directors of the transfer of the shares from the two shareholders to the remaining shareholders. Then complete ST4.

ST4 does not have to be filed provided the consideration for the transfer is less then €1000. If it is more, then stanp duty may have to be paid on the transfer. Note that the market value of the shares may also be important.

    Kind Regards
