Are you entitled to Social Welfare back payment, once you get a job?

    Hello,
I applied for social welfare at the start of this month.
I have been to a few interviews now and I could end up with a job soon.
Am I still entitled to the back pay I would get if I stayed on the dole, if I get a job?
Hope this makes sense, basically if stay on the dole I would get back pay. For the time I have been waiting. If I get a job say for example next Monday.
Will I still get my back payment??
    Thanks,
    B

To the best of my Knowledge once your claim has been submitted you should get back pay up to the date you sign off advising them of your new job.

Best of luck nice to hear some good news :)
