Is it the job or the people you work with that you hate?
Do you get support in the job when you started or where to left on your own and expected to know everything on day one?
Have you a boss who treats you like your in primary school or are you micro managed to death? Are you in a job where your over qualified?
I know what it is like to be in a job you hate as I have experience of this.
In regards to you present job is it leading to a career or is better than being on the dole? If you hate your job you won't work hard or do well in it.
I would look for another job and see if you can update you skills ie do some IT course at the same time. Look at you present job as a stepping stone to something better and learn as much as you can when your there.
When you go for a job interview I would say I am looking for a better fit of my skills to date and I have done x.y,z. Don't go into an interview and tell them I want to leave my present jobs as my boss/co workers/ pay are poor ect.
No boss want to be taking on a problem. Except that you may be looking for a job for a while and make the best of the situation you are in for the moment.
    Good Luck

I agree with okiss, you should try to figure out exactly why you don't like your job.

There is some good advice here which might help you: http://www.dublinjobs.ie/how-to-like-your-job/

    Thanks!:)

It's a career job. It's a combination of the people who are very bitchy and stand offish and the work even though I can do it I just seem to keep making stupid mistakes. Its just not an area I'm interested or would like to pursue a future in.

I will definitely be taking your advice on board!

I think that if there was a theme running through your CV where you only stayed in a job for a few months it wouldn't look attractive to an employer.

However, if you have worked in other jobs for a reasonable amount of time, I don't think the fact that you've only been in your most recent job for 3 months would be too much of an issue.

I suppose you'd have to sell it to the prospective employer that you view the next move as something more long term.

If you are a graduate in areas like HR, Tax, Economics, Accounting there may be something here that you would like to apply for:
