    Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of renovating old house. Size wise it's a bit on the small side. I have plenty room in back garden and was considering a shed to house boiler, washing machine, dryer etc. This would have electricity and be plumbed into sewer. Shed would also be used for your everyday storage. My questions are:

Does anyone foresee any probloems having these items together in outdoor shed?
Should i go steel shed or block built?
Should I put windows and apex roof in?

    I appreciate any advice

Generally, if you are going to build something which is exempt from planning permission you will need to keep the finishes the same as the house. If you are going for planning permission then you can ask for whatever choice of finish you want.

Just vent the drier to the outside as the steam in the shed would rust the washing machine and boiler. Also if the boiler is not new there may be fumes from it which could make the cloths smell.
