hmm ok , my first attempt at c&c on this site.
to be honest the picture doesnt do anything for me , its just a picture of a boat. maybe the boat could have been in more of the picture or maybe capture more details of the boat. on a positive the picture does look quite sharp and cant see to much noise

Hello Conor, I think the subject isn't the most interesting tbh. But a tighter crop might help.

To me there is a bit of a clash of subject and setting...neither one has enough prominence within the photo to dominate the eye and there is too much compromise to try and showcase both.

I'd like to see either the boat itself be more prominent or far more of the setting with the boat being a smaller part of the shot.

There is a nice rule of thirds thing going on with the sky, mountain and water but i think you could have sacrificed the sky for more water due to the lack of anything happening in the former and the nice reflected lights in the latter.

Whatever way you've processed the image you've lost a lot of detail.

I just realised that for some reason I dropped the resolution to 72dpi..
That's probably the reason for loss of detail

I quite like it . I prefer the cropped image as it is not as dark, or at least doesn't seem as dark.
