    Hi All

Went through the Vee on Saturday and froze my pistachios off !! Sun was shining when I left Cork and made the big mistake of setting off with no jacket, just an under armour and a jersey.......So now I'm in the market for a winter Jacket.
From what I can see online, all the team ones are minimum 130euro. Is that the standard ? Obviously Im sure I could get a generic one for less (but they are not as cool!) If I go that route what brands would you recommend ? Would sizing be in line with Jersey sizing ?

    Thanks

Our club winter jackets are by GSG and are brilliant but they do cost a fair bit, probably about the €100 mark. You may not need a winter jacket though, a rain proof jacket with underarmer may be enough, perhaps a gilet aswell but then you're up into the same price as the winter jacket.

I got this Biemme one in Wheelworx a few weeks back. It is fantastic. According to the guy in the shop, waterproof for up to 3 hours in heavy rain and he told me not to wear a base layer.

Ah hello, we live in Ireland pal. I went out the weekend and did 60km wearing underarmour, fleece lined jersey and my jacket.... I see what he meant now, I was roasting, the jersey and jacket would have been plenty.

it has great night vision also, my da took a pic, and with the camera flash i look lit up like a christmas tree

Bit on the expensive side even with 20% off shop price of €160, but you might get it cheaper on the web
