CORK MEET - SUNDAY 29TH JAN 2012 - LITTLE ISLAND RETAIL PARK

    Right,

    May as well strike while the iron is hot.

    Regional meets are another thing that we had discussed in the past. To get this rolling I'm putting a feeler out on a meet this Sunday. This will obviously be much smaller, but can be a good introduction for people that haven't been to any previously.

    I'm going to suggest two locations for this. If it's predominantly people from Cork City or suburbs the Costa in Little Island Retail Park seems like a good choice, vast empty car park and decent coffee. If however any of the Limerick/Tip gang would like to come along I was going to suggest the usual Corbett Court between Mitchelstown and Fermoy. We have used that place previously and it worked well.


    So stick your name and preference here if you're interested.

    yes there is! i used work in janssen and biocell which are very close by, we used have lunch outside spar looking at "totty" :pac:

    Easy to find lads, coming from Fermoy you hit the roundabout by the tunnel. Take First exit at that round about.

    Carrly along the motorway for about a mile and take the Little Island exit, right at the top to go across the flyover to Little Island and you come to a roundabout. Thrird exit off that and you're there.

    Decent turnout for this so far.

    Unfortunately I think Portlaoise is my limit. :P

    (In reality €148 in 6 days on Petrol is actually more realistically my limit)

    This would push the 200 barrier in 10 days. Plus if it's at 11:30 it would mean leaving at 9am. Not a hope, I think I'll enjoy some beer on Friday night instead. :D

    It's not that kind of meet, if you have an interest in cars pop along to chat with a friendly bunch that have the same interests. Doesn't matter if you drive a tractor!
    It's nice to put a few faces to name too, great way to meet ppl. :)
