Got their debut album Baby which was released last week, loving what I'm hearing so far!

    They fall somewhere between Bowie/Foals/Pulp/Pixies.

Only worry is NME are already licking their arses.

Howler are also a band to watch in 2012, their debuts also deadly!

Liking the Howler album and not so much Tribes. Tribes are very... don't know how to put it but they remind me of Airborne Toxic Event and I keep struggling to listen the whole way through. I think it's mainly his voice. I thought they were American because of it.

Definitely my album of the yeat so far.

    'Whenever' is a classic!

I do like the album even though it unashamedly draws from the past. I know that isn't always a bad thing, but at times it sounds as if they set out to make a song for The Pixies, and the opening 30 seconds of 'Whenever' is a perfect example. That said, songs like 'We Were Children' and 'Sappho' have great choruses that I'd say are quite enjoyable live!
