the blue screen of death

    does anyone out there no how to fix my windows 7 desktop about 6 months ago i upgraded, it was all working perfect now it wont boot,
    i have a message come up with the blue screen saying the driver is mismanaging system ptes.i tryed to start in safe mode and restore it and it still wont load. i also tryed booting from cd and still wont boot can anyone help me.

    Did you install any drivers recently? Your system should boot off the CD, make sure boot priority in the bios is set to CD drive first

    yes i changed it to boot from cd it just comes up cant boot from cd code 5 whatever that means

    Is it a burnt CD or official one? If burnt it may be corrupted, maybe try re-burning
