    I am a 27 yr old guy and i am lacking in confidence.I have a decent job and considered very good looking.It is holding me back in my career and meeting girls?what can i do to overcome this.Should i get counselling?

    Reminds me of a conversation I had ages ago, whcih went something like this:

    Me: "I dont think he is arrogant, just pretty shy."
    Dave: "Well tbh I think they're the same thing."

    I think Dave's POV applies here. Honestly can't think of a time I've heard or seen a guy referring to themselves as "very good looking". Perhaps you are quiet because you want too much approval.

    The transition from shyness to boldness is usually from genuinely not giving a cr@p about failing or rejection or whatever else. Humility (or just not thinking about yourself) breeds that disregard for falling a lot better than nursing high opinions of yourself.

    Maybe I am. I still get good-looking women though. This is not about me though. It's about your inability to get off with anyone ;)
