David was the Assistant Pro at Greystones GC - my home course - for a good while. A great bloke and an excellent teacher from what I've heard. I'm thinking of going to him for lessons myself.

The word is that he doesn't try to change things too much - ie he works with what you have. Depends on whether you see that as a good or a bad thing.

Oh, and he drives the ball 300 yards +

Great thanks for the tip. I'm gonna take the plunge and buy the deal. I really need to learn how to hit a driver. Currently my 7 Iron goes further!

    +1 for David Lewis.
I got three lessons from him last summer - wasn't looking for a complete overhaul, just to tighten up some areas. He shaped the lessons to suit. Gave me some great pitching/chipping tips as well even though I was primarily looking to improve my mid and short ironplay. He also did some video analysis which I could keep.

The video review of the lesson, which he sends to your email is really useful, because unless you see for yourself your swing in slow motion, it can be very hard to know what you're doing wrong and how to correct it.
A +1 from me, for Mr. Lewis as well.

Good stuff. Looking forward to it now. Funny to think the only reason I clicked into it was because his name is so similar to mine!
