I hear the Knight of the Campanile demand a shrubbery from all who discover them. One that looks nice. And not too expensive.

    Order of the Golden sphere.

They usually hang outside the library, usually wear capes and drip blood from their orifices

I don't think you can be a secret society when you have a google-able website and a Facebook group containing a list of members.

When the Phil and Hist were still being old fashioned and not letting women in, there was a society called the Elizabethan Society, for women. When the Phil started letting women in the two society's merged, and now the highest ranking female officer in the Phil is the 'honorary President' of the Elizabethan society. So...I guess technically it's a secret society. Sorta. The Phil held a reunion a year or two ago, smashing bunch of women.

Don't forget the University Reading Society, which may or may not still theoretically exist.

I remember asking Angry Banana (or Time Magazine whatever his name is these days) back in 2005 about that society. I couldn't find anywhere that said that it was disbanded by Board.
