Did you think about Googling things first? Didn't think so.

I put my music on my microSD card or transfer to it/phone via USB. There's probably a way of doing this with wifi, but figuring it out and dealing with bugs (and that I use Ubuntu) just isn't worth the hassle.

As for downloading music, you can't ask for a bay of pirated music. You should download things legit from the bands' websites or an iTunes like service.

I believe you can also stream music from Spotify for a small fee each month, though not sure if this works in Ireland yet.

I've stopped using it, but Grooveshark is a legit way of streaming music. They have an android app too.

Squeeonline, how do you know I didn't google it?I did.I just wanted other peoples opinon of what was the best and easiest way...no need to be rude about it.
And I never asked for any illegal sites, read my message properly and don't assume. How are people like me,new to this, supposed to learn if we can't get some advice from people in the know. We're not all tech experts.
But thanks for your what info you did leave

Download Google Music to your phone and PC. It allows you to upload all your music from your PC to Google for free and you can then stream it from anywhere on your phone.

There are loads of places to download music from, including Amazon.

As others have alluded to, it is usually as simple as just connecting your phone to your device and copying it over. Most manufacturers give software with their devices to make this even easier, though personally I think a lot of this software is rubbish.

Don't worry about all the other fancy stuff until you have the basics covered. :)
