Slower than a wet week but a good old skool diesel engine.

Had one and Im sorry I got rid of it. Great car reliability wise, good on diesel and most of them are a fairly good spec so nice inside too. The downside is that they are not all that quick in standard form but you can have them remapped and they respond well to it. I remember hearing that some of the engines gave up due to dodgy oil being used but if it looks good and well minded you should be ok.

Mine was a 318 tds touring with Mtec upgrades from the factory and it handled excellently but I think it was due to the fact that they came with harder suspension as I drove a standard one and I wasn't as happy with it but then coming from my own car everything let me down :) Can be got for handy money nowadays and I often check out done deal to see if my old car comes up for sale. In fact I was just on there a few mins ago and there is a load of them for sale so you have good grounds to haggle and find a good one.
