boards.ie's LOI bridage or boards.ie's SPL brigade?

Say your standard evening in a pub talking about football, but their football...all night.

    Which would be more bareable??

I'm leaning towards LOI because there'd be more of them and they'd actually discuss a whole league, promotion, relegation and all that, not just the yearlong derby that is the SPL.

On the other hand the SPLers chip on their shoulder at least wouldn't result in them chanting 'barstooler' at me all night and they would be discussing some players I'd actually give a toss about.

Who would you rather spend an evening in the company of? 4 votes

    boards.ie SPLers

Spending a night with us would mean you might have to go to a football match, probably better to pick the SPL lads.

I'd spend an evening with either rather then with someone who seems to think they're above all others

    Aye right pal.

Not much chance of you getting an invite to be honest.

Wouldnt be so sure - the majority of the "SPL Crowd" are regular matchgoers, on both sides.

    What a ridiculous thread.

Who would I want to spend an evening with? Neither.

LoI would be akin to getting a visit from Armin Meiwes. And the SPL would be too busy doing Irish things. Speaking Gaeilge and funding for the IRA.

Besides meeting people on the interwebz isn't cool.

    'barstooler' .

I don't think I've ever heard that word said, only typed.

 A good portion of the SPL posters are Rangers fans, and I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the Celtic supporting posters have condemned any IRA chanting. Bit of a poor generalisation

Poll fails to include options discussed in post.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

But the poll doesn't correlate with your first post OP?!

It was a joke dude, albeit a very bad one, but, nonetheless, it was a joke.

It's obviously a mistake though, it's clear he meant to type LOI instead of EPL in the poll.

Something tells me a night out with the OP'er would be akin to the tea party scene from Alice in Wonderland.

    Poll fail!

I'd spend it with either before I'd endure a night with a load of tits going on about the Ten Greatest Free Kick Velocities Ever or whatever excruciating Top Trumps arcana people use as a substitute for actually watching and understanding football.

I'd have never copped onto that - must remember to view the Utd/Pool threads more often!
    Makes perfect sense though.

As an aside, i find it interesting that this thread is still going - A bare-faced attack on two percieved groups of forum users.

neither are the SPL fans, even if they are matchgoers, they are just a big bunch of bigots. the BBB I'm going to call them from now on.

Had to make sure you all left the country, so Celtic could be invented & St Patrick's day could be a commercial phenomenon.

    It was a necessary evil.
