Ok so I admit I'm clueless when it comes to technology. Just show me what button to press and I'm happy. Until today. I got a gift of an apple tv and I'm fooked if I can connect it to my Sony Bravia. I've put all the wires in the right place HDMI in the right port but I don't know how to hook it up from there. Can any one give me an idiots guide to set this up please!!

    Have you a wireless modem?

You need to set up the apple tv with your modem.

Go to the menu on the apple tv and go from there.

I've the Sony tv and the apple tv....great job when you get it going.

Ehhhh yeah, you need to switch the input on the tv to whatever the apple tv is plugged into. Eg hdmi 1 or 2 etc...
