I hope to order the wine for the wedding next week but I don't know how to break it down. Should I go 50/50, or will more people opt for white?

60:40 in favour of white, according to all the sommeliers I asked before my wedding.

    Yea same from this end
I would have prob said 70-80% white and 20-30% red
White is the more popular drink without meal IMO and there are those that would like the red with the meal but not so much in comparison to white
I am at that thinking stage to of whether to get the hotels wine or get my own
Tesco regularly do savage deals on wine and could just go and buy it through them but then I will have to pay €5 corkage per bottle
Example of tesco is theres a bottle wine that my mother and sister love and its €13.99 and before Christmas it was €7 !!! :):)
Its suppose to b gorgeous ( I hate wine )
    Best of luck !
