    Hi all,

Have a 2007 Peugeot 207 petrol and the temp guage either reads zero or jumps around. Looks like the coolant temp sensor is gone.

Question is - where is this located? On the rad or block?

    Thanks

Usually on the block...they tend to have a green plugin connector.
Saying that you really need to view the actual coolent temp via diagnostic
equipment...if its reading normal on live data then your problem could be with your instrument cluster.

    Gotchya.

But if the sensor is only 15 or so quid then maybe worth taking the chance and saving 50 on a diagnosis?

Go for it if it only costs 15 quid....But saying that it may work out a bigger job than you think (changing the coolent sensor....)
No point in throwing parts at any car when you don't no where they fit.....
