My DD is in 5th yr and has the most dreadful teacher so she needs to do spanish classes this summer before going to stay with friends in Spain for a couple of weeks. Does anyone know of classes that are LC specific? many of the classes advertised are introductory/intermediate/advanced adn its difficult to know what the level would be like or how relevant they would be to LC preparation. Any advice much appreciated.

Instituto Cervantes run classes in Dublin (not sure where you are).

Thanks, but they're not sure whether they will run or not in the summer. appear to be v disorganised and said they don't print their summer brochure until May and I'm afraid if I wait to find out that I won't get a place anywhere else.

This is not particularly aimed at the leaving cert but It covers so much basic spanish and a great environment and it made a MASSIVE difference on my level of spanish in school. I would highly recommend this school, it is based in Madrid.

I was going to suggest Euro Languages College alright. www.elc.ie
They run 3 week long classes during the summer in I think, 4-5 locations around ireland.

    I've heard good things

Thanks, I believe they're good but they are residential and very expensive. I was hoping to find something she could attend by day in Dublin.
