What is the longest time between an actor/actress first and last movie?

    At first I though of Lillian Gish http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001273/
    An Unseen Enemy (1912) –> The Whales of August (1987) = 75 years.

    Then I came across Johannes Heesters http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0373535/
    Cirque hollandais (1924) –> Ten (2011) = 87 years.

    Can anyone top that?

    The OP has the question solved.
    Johannes Heesters has the confirmed longest career. He died on Xmas eve just passed. He was famous for being Hitlers favourite actor.

    Micky Rooney has is only a year behind, and has had a far more active career. 320+ films. Heesters was in 91.

    I hope Rooney passes the Nazi out soon,
