Sinn Fein running

Ok this might be one of those things where you had to be there, but thought Id post it all the same.

Was in the town a day ago when two well known Sinn Fein lads- Now I dont mean councilors, the sort of lads you always see in the background of every local Sinn Fein photo, they always call to your door at election to tell you about the great TD they have, they are always in town handing out leaflets about water rates/house taxes etc you get the idea.

So was walking down the street, when the two lads came sprinting down the street towards me, both of them carrying a sports bag. It was obvious they werent just taking a warm up run to get to the gym. I dont know what they were at, but whatever it was it looked like they were running like their lives depended on it.

The funny thing was that a lot of people actually turned around and start running with them. The guy in front of me he was on the phone and I could just hear him say to whoever was on the other end "Oh sh1t the IRA is after planting a bo..." as he ran back past me.

It was so funny seeing about 20 people all panic and turn around and run away and a load of other people cross over to the other side of the road

I wonder what the 2 lads were thinking when they looked back and saw a group of people running right behing them :pac: :pac:
