I have tried but cannot continue to pay the revised payments of 250 euro. Close to half has been paid on the lease agreement.…

Hi All
Can I hand back my leased van no strings attached, or will I be liable for the cash balance?? I have a five year lease on a commercial van which commenced Jan 2008. Company all but gone now. I have tried but cannot continue to pay the revised payments of 250 euro. Close to half has been paid on the lease agreement. Can I hand back the van to Bank of Ireland finance or will the follow me to the grave for the balance? Any help would be greatly appreciated
