Hi All. Trying to get Sky News on my Ariva 120. I seem to get no signal on that transponder and a search finds no channels. All other sat channels coming in fine. Any ideas?

your signal Quality seems very low. maybe your dish needs to be tweaked a little.

could be part of the problem.

Thanks John. I think this box shows that signal level/quality even with the cable plugged out, it doesn't go down to 0/0. If I move to the next transponder I get signal/quality of 85/76 and a perfect picture. Can a badly aligned dish cause one transponder to have perfect signal and another to have none?

What about other high band tps such as 12523 mHz H & V?

Just tried that and I get no signal on that also. What does that indicate?

Go to the Antenna Setup menu & check that the lnb frequency is set to 'Universal (9750-10600)'.

Try what Peter suggested first and if that does not work check all transponders above 11.700 , if none are present it may well be an lnb problem IE not switching to the high band.

Thanks Peter, that was it! It was set to 9750-10550 and changing it to 9750-10600 brought in the missing channels.
