    Volvo Golf Champions
Going for Schwartzel win @ 11/2 in the hope that last week was a cobweb dusting exercise.
Also going for Noren e/w and R1 leader @ 25/1. Normally goes well fresh.

    Humana Challenge
Small e/w bets on Laird@25/1 and Ryan Palmer@66/1

Here's hoping one of these will "do a Jamie Elson" for me this week :D

    I'm going with:
    B Haas 20/1
    C Howell 25/1
    B Gay 40/1
    R Palmer 66/1
    D Lamely 200/1

    All Humana, all e/w.

BWT, Ladbrokes are paying out 6 places. However, many of their prices are shorter, e.g. Lamely is 100/1. But not all, Howell is also 25/1.

US only for me this week:

Martin Laird @ 25/1 - goes without saying for me.

Carl Pettersson @ 40/1 - birdie machine, La Quinta will serve up many a birdie and form ie: finished 2nd last week.

JJ Killeen @ 150/1 - Topped the money list on the Nationwide Tour last year and this is his rookie season on the PGA Tour. Just a wee bet on him.

i'm going to stick to the outsiders,Brendan de Jonge(@150/1) let me down big time on Sunday, shat himself big style so he'll probably win this week.

    I'm going big(for me)e/w on Bill Lunde this week @150/1 6 places

Also,i like the way Kyle Stanley is progressing, think he'll win a tourney this year,e/w 6 places @50/1 looks ok to me

Well it won't be on til tonight..

Sky's coverage of the Volvo is a disgrace, following every shot of Schwartzel. I don't get the fascination with this player at all. He won a major in great style, well done...but before that he was a B/C player...always around 25-1 etc...never as low as he has been in the last two events. Currently one of the most over hyped player in the game without a doubt. I mean Darren Clarke won a major...do we now think he's a star?

Lewis and Dyson in SA for me and Haas, Molder, Gay and De Jonge in the US

Bit harsh on Schwartzel there, before last week he was in the T10 6 weeks in a row, last year he was in the T16 in all four majors and he is ranked 9 in the world, plus the tournament happens to be in South Africa, you use the comparison of Darren Clarke, Darren's career and Charls are in total opposite progections amd was Clarke not nominated and shortlisted for BBC sports personality of the year? Someone abviously thinks he's a star.

He got that nomination by default tbh.

Charl is a great consistent player, and I never said he wasn't. But he's not a player that should ever be 3-1 or 5-1 for a tournament or be 100% covered by TV. Not that any of that is his fault of course.

    Forgive me Camillo :pac:

I'll be smarting a bit if he does goes onto win but at the same time, delighted from personal/fan standpoint. Interesting to see he's gone to the belly putter like so many, looked great last night with it. His putting was awful last season bar around the playoffs I think.

I feel a bit silly for backing Dustin. He's nowhere near his best and is really just swanning about out there. That 4 putt was embarrassing for everyone concerned.

    Noren still going okay though.

How right I was... He quits...

Schwartzel showing his class in SA now.

Noren 4 over thru 3 lol

Garrigus needs to hole out from his 2nd shot to shoot 59 in the 3rd round!

edit - par par finish, round of 61

Last year on Boards someone told me that I knew nothing about Golf because I believed that Ben Crane was a terrible putter. Apparently he's widely regarded as being one of the best.

Just watch him tonight. He, as we know, is the slowest and most infuriating player on the tour, but he also has a terrible putting stroke. Great iron player, shocking putter.

SO two things we (or at least "I") should have learned from January 2011 but didn't.

Back Mark Wilson in the US and South Africans in "Europe"

Looking forward to forgetting this in 2013 too

    :mad::rolleyes::confused:

I backed four golfers in the Hyundai:
    Sabbatini
    Choi
    Wilson
    Wagner

I changed my bets for the Sony Open and the Humana Challenge.

Wagner wins the Sony Open and Wilson wins the Humana!
