I have this integration problem, at first I thought it was a simple definite integral. However, I given the answer to it and I have no idea how my teacher got it.

    It's driving me insane

    Any ideas?

You can rearrange the function so that you have all the V's (a + bV and dV) on one side and all of the t's (dt) on the other side and then integrate both sides and you will have an expression for t as a function of V + a constant then using your initial conditions you can find out the constant and sub in for it to get a particular solution.
