Grant instalment less than expected.

    Hi,

    I just got an email from Dublin City Council saying that my grant had been paid and there was €22 less than was paid in the last instalment, I know it's only €22 but does anyone have any ideas why its gone.

    The budget for 2012 has kicked in.

    Nah, kicks in in january where reductions in payments are done. Changes to qualification for the scheme kick in in september.

    I have no idea when an increase would kick in, if ever such a thing will happen to the grant in the future.

    I have yet to get one too but I rang them yesterday and they said an email should arrive next Wednesday or the following week

    It depends on your College.

    They have to wait for a list from your college of people who are still registered with them.

    I got mine because Maynooth sent the list out rather early. Send your colleges grant office an email and they should know when it going to happen.
