    Hi guys

I was hoping someone could help me.

I have recently moved to Switzerland and I have kept my sky subscription which was the +HD with sports and movies.

I bought all the necessary stuff here and aligned the dish up. I can pick up all channels from RTE1 to SKY1 etc except for the premium channels sports and movies.

It seems to be picking up the premium channels but says that i need to subscibe, but I am subscribed as before I was using skygo to watch online until stuff arrived.

Anyone know if there is something i must change on box or do i need to align to a different satilette to receive everything

    Thanks for your help

switzerland being a much lower latitude means your aimed at the sattelite for switzerland and not uk & ireland.... you may need to do a rescan on your sky box to find where the movie channels have moved to

I believe everything is on Astra 2d sat?

I have viewed co-odrinates of that for my exact location, so at 28.2E and elevation of 34.9

However, I do I do a scan and if I did one would it wipe out what is there at the moment?

You dont have to Scan a Sky box no Sky ever needed or could be scanned for a sky package. The Message your are receiving saying you need to subscribe means that there is an Account problem it has nothing to do with realigning your dish or the fact that you live in Switzerland. If you are receiving a no Satellite signal then you would have a Technical problem.

Sorry mate but your reply to the OP is completely wrong. His Problem with not receiving Sky premium channels is more than likely an account problem.

    Hi

I just reconfirmed via the sky website and my account still includes as it should do the Movies and Sports

Perhaps its something simple to be done......

It may have missed a card update while you were moving the box . Sky should be able to fix this for you.

Astra 1N & 2D look like they need a good size dish but you should be able to get everything including 2A 2B and Euro1, all beams.

If you bought the box there it may need to be paired to your card.

Did you bring the sky hd box you were using in Ireland to Switzerland?

If you try to use your card in another box without getting it paired, you will have the problem you describe.

Premium channels will not work but RTE SKY1 etc will work.

Usually though in that case there will be an onscreen message to say the card is not paired to the box.

Make sure that if you are ringing Sky, block your caller id so they won't know you are ringing from Switzerland;) They'll still think you are in Ireland.

The sky box and card are the same that were used in Ireland

I will give them a ring so and see
